Just so you know...

Amber is an ancient resin that came from conifer trees which lived some 40-50 million years ago! It is, and has always been greatly valued as a semi-precious stone. Some pieces of Amber encapsulate the fossilized remains of extinct plant and insect species from distant pasts – a real treasure for the collectors among you!

The largest deposits of Amber are along the shores of the Baltic Sea in Northern Europe – these deposits date back as far as 45 million years, and the Baltic Amber is predominately the one used in our jewellery. Nevertheless, we also have some beautiful amber and amber jewellery collections using the rarer but younger Mexican and Dominican amber deposits.
